'HOW DO I GET UP THERE?' are Scotlands newest and fastest rising sketch group that are heralding a new era for scottish comedy with their unique brand of quick fire Humour.
Formed in late July 2008, the trio performed their first ever gig as guests on Lucy Porter and Des Clarke's sketch show at the pleasance courtyard during the 2008 Edinburgh Festival . Since then they have been a regular feature on the Scottish comedy circuit.
In 2009 the trio enjoyed two sell out shows for their Glasgow Comedy Festival debut, were invited to perform at the Wickerman Festival, performed a sold out show in Inverness, had a run at the free festival in Edinburgh and were banned from performing in South Lanarkshire.
Come 2010 the boys had gained rave reviews for their unique approach to sketch comedy. They were given their own monthly night at the Glasgow Stand Comedy Club and followed up the sucess of their debut Glasgow Festival show with another total sell out at the G12 Theatre. Performances at the Kirkaldy comedy festival followed and come August 2010 the boys had made the final of the "Take The Mic" competition at the Edinburgh Festival, where they finished runners up. They also perfomed a special one off performance at the Edinburgh Stand during the festival which featured the best of their Glasgow Festival Shows.
By 2011 they had made the list of acts to watch in 2011 by the List Magazine and progressed to the finals of the prestigious "New Act of The Year" competiton at the Barbican in London.

CHRIS FORBES – Chris, 28, is a stand up comedian. Chris regularly plays the Stand comedy clubs in Edinburgh and Glasgow as well as further afield on the uk circuit. In april 2008 he performed on the canadian comedy network as part of the International Great Canadian Laugh Off competition flimed at the legendary Yuk Yuk's comedy club in Toronto. He will also be apperaring as his goth alter ego Damien Crow at the Glasgow Comedy Festival in 2011. Chris's acting credits have seen him appear in Dear Green Place.
JAMES KIRK – James, 23 is also a stand up comedian. At the Edinburgh Festival in 2010 he won "So You Think Your Funny" and he was nominated for Best New Comedian at the Scottish Variety Awards 2011. James's acting credits have seen him appear in Rab C Nesbit, Gary: Tank Commander and The Ushers at The Tron Theartre. James has also written for All The Milkman's Children and The Ellis and Clarke Show for BBC Radio Scotland.
KEVIN MAINS – Kevin is 21 and a talented young actor. He has already appeared in award winning short films in Scotland and Ireland as well as performing at the prestigious Citizens Theatre in three critically acclaimed XLC productions (Mary Queen of Scots, The Pillowman and The Luitenant of Inishmore ). He also appeared in Zig Zag Love alongside Robert Carlyle for BBC Scotland and River City. Kevin is currently performing at Noel Coward Theatre in London as Elvis in The Million Dollar Quartet
